Description and Insperiation
This idea is coming from Meggs, he is Growing up in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne, David 'Meggs' Hooke, immersed himself in the worlds of drawing, cartoons, sci-fi films and skateboarding.
I like his style because the color and the feeling. He just use the strong color, like red, blue, black and white. Also his painting looks freedom and random. Meggs’s works all looks like a oil painting work, because he likes to put oil on the works, makes works nature and random.
This work is combined my favourite changer of the world, Steven Jobs, he is a legend, he brings us not only just a Ipad, Iphone or Mac, he changed the world life style. Why I want to combine them together, I think because they all random person, and all designer, but different areas. I used half Captain American face and half Steven Jobs’ face, because there is a similar picture before Meggs designed, I can keep the style and easy to follow the color.
As we know, Steven and Captain American are American, and American flag color is red, blue and white, so I used these colors and also black to be my main colors. Background I changed to be the apple logo which is Apple Company’s logo shape, it stands for Steven Jobs, he is the leader of Apple Company.
Another inspiration is from the Steven’s photo, in that photo, he looks like he is thinking something.
